(LEARFIELD) – The Milwaukee Brewers completed their first sweep of a series in Wrigley Field in five years Wednesday night.
Brewers manager Pat Murphy said that the players deserve a lot of credit for sweeping the Cubs.
Kyle Harrison and D-L Hall combined on a two-hit shutout, 5-0.
Kyle Harrison was asked if the sweep of the Cubs boost.
Harrison said that he and William Contreras agreed, with the wind blowing in, give the Cubs a steady dose of fastballs (64 of them).
Light-hitting infielder David Hamilton went 3-for-4.
Murphy talked about Hamilton’s night.
William Contreras also had three hits.
Milwaukee is off tonight, then welcomes the Los Angeles Dodgers to American Family Field for a weekend series.
