(247NEWSSOURCE) – The Milwaukee Bucks will be back in action tonight.
Milwaukee will face off with the Pelicans on the road.
The Bucks beat New Orleans 141-137 in overtime earlier this month.
Milwaukee is currently 12th in the Eastern Conference with a record of 23-and-30 this season and trail Charlotte by 1 1/2 games for the final NBA play-in playoff spot. The Bucks and New Orleans are both 5-5 in their last 10 games with New Orleans having a 15-41 season record.
Antetokounmpo back soon? Coach Doc Rivers said that Giannis Antetokounmpo is “close” to a return after missing the past four weeks with a right calf strain.
Youth movement: The Bucks are working behind the scenes on establishing a youthful core.
Milwaukee seems to have struck gold in its acquisition of Ousmane Dieng.
Behind the Buck Pass-dot-com reports that the team is also playing the long game with 20-year-old Bogoljub Markovic, who played overseas last year.
He may stay one more season, but he has shown great promise.
Markovic was taken in the second round of the 2025 NBA Draft.
