Japan is taking self-care to a whole new level with a human washing machine that promises a full clean without lifting a finger.
The giant pod created by a company called Science Co. automatically fills with water, sprays you down, and even projects calming visuals while you relax. Sensors inside track your physical and mental wellness, displaying the data on screen as you’re gently scrubbed by “microscopic bubbles.”
Six units have already been ordered for hotels and leisure facilities across Japan, including one in Osaka. No official price tag yet, but the company says it costs about the same as a luxury imported car.
It’s definitely not your average bubble bath!
