Imagine you’re craving a snack, you walk up to a vending machine, and right there on the glass is a handwritten note: “Mouse in Machine.” Do you still press the button for a bag of chips, or do you suddenly lose your appetite?
This happened in Buffalo, New York, where someone spotted a little critter—possibly a mouse, maybe even a small rat—hanging out inside a vending machine.
On one hand, vending machines are (hopefully) stocked in sealed packaging, so technically, your candy bar or bag of pretzels hasn’t been tampered with. But on the other hand… there’s a rodent running around in there. Not exactly the best endorsement for hygiene.
