GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Prevea Health is beginning to notify people whose information may have been exposed during a cybersecurity incident in August.
According to an update posted to the health system’s website Thursday, those involved will be notified on a rolling basis as the review process progresses.
“Any individual whose information was involved will receive a letter from the HSHS System Privacy Officer, mailed to the individual’s address we have on file,” the update says. “This letter will provide important and relevant information, including the support we are providing.”
Prevea and its partner, Hospital Sisters Health System, restored their systems by early October following the incident.
