FOND DU LAC, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – A 15-year-old boy is being held on a $500,000 cash bond after allegedly firing shots into a North Fond du Lac home on Monday.
No formal initial appearance date was set at Friday’s court hearing, according to a court official.
In Wisconsin, those ages 10 and older facing most homicide-related charges appear in adult court. Requested charges include attempted first-degree intentional homicide, first-degree recklessly endangering safety, and carrying a concealed weapon.
The incident happened about 2 a.m. Monday, when multiple shots were fired into a home in the 700 block of N. Michigan Ave, said North Fond du Lac Police Lt. Pete Vergos.
At least one person inside the home was injured.
Vergos would not disclose a motive, but said it was a targeted incident.
