APPLETON, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A stretch of Highway 441 in Appleton will be down to one lane through the rest of summer and fall.
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation says maintenance and repair work will take place between Highway CE (College Avenue) and Highway OO (Northland Avenue). Crews will be repairing the road surface and replacing joints on the bridge over the Fox River.
Drivers should expect delays, especially during peak travel times, and are encouraged to use alternate routes.
Lane closures begin Monday and are expected to last through mid-November.
Updates will be available on the DOT’s website.
