GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A grant is helping those underserved in Brown County with their medical needs.
A check worth nearly $80,000 was presented to NEW Community Clinic Tuesday.
It comes from the American Recovery Plan Act to benefit local non-profit organizations.
The grant money will help the clinic buy medical and dental supplies for its mobile unit that helps the underserved in the community.
“The ARPA funding that we are receiving from Brown County will be used for our mobile services that will be rolled out this fall. Specifically we will be using the funding to support our initiatives to bringing dental care out to the community,” said Kim Franzen, CEO of NEW Community Clinic.
