CALUMET COUNTY, WI (WTAQ) — Calumet County will be showcasing all they have to offer at their upcoming Discover Calumet County event.
Discover Calumet County is a free, family-friendly event being held at Round Lake Farms in Brillion on August 8 from 4 – 8:30 p.m.
The event will feature food and refreshments, music, and local business and vendor booths. The Kids’ Zone will include a scavenger hunt as well as hands on activities and demonstrations from the Brillion Library, Calumet County Parks, Brillion Nature Center, and Calumet County Sheriff’s K-9 dog.
A stage will host dancing demonstrations by Revel Dance Academy and The Crystal Ballroom from 4-5 p.m., then live music with the Scatterbrains from Chilton from 6-8:30 p.m. Food vendors include Terra Verde / Scoops Ice Cream, Markos Smokin’ BBQ, and Batch Baker.
“All of the Ariens stuff will be there which is really cool,” said Laura Wiegert with the Fox Cities Chamber. “Their nordic trails will be open, and you can try the biathlon range; so anyone of any age can try shooting an infrared laser rifle at the biathlon range.”
Parking at Round Lake Farms will be first come first serve. Overflow parking, with shuttles to and from the event, will be available at Trinity Lutheran Church and School at 601 E. National Ave, Brillion.
