MILWAUKEE, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A man is facing five years in federal prison for attempting to distribute methamphetamine on the Menominee Indian Reservation.
Peter Boyd, 36, could have faced up to 40 years in prison for the meth distribution charge. Because Boyd entered a guilty plea at the end of March, though, he is facing five years in prison followed by five years of supervised release.
According to court documents, officers found 111 grams of methamphetamine, scales and other paraphernalia associated with the use and sale of drugs in a home on the Menominee Indian Reservation. They also found over $2,000 in cash and nine guns during the search last October.
