GREEN BAY, WI ( WTAQ-WLUK) — Joshua Scolman was ordered Tuesday to stand trial for allegedly killing another inmate at the Green Bay Correctional Institution.
Scolman waived a preliminary hearing. His arraignment was scheduled for Feb. 6.
He allegedly fatally stabbed Timothy Nabors on Oct. 21 at the prison in Allouez. According to the criminal complaint, Scolman was targeting another inmate with whom he had a dispute, but ended up killing Nabors, who tried to break up the fight.
Scolman is scheduled to be in prison until 2058 as a result of a conviction for a drunken driving crash that killed three people in Milwaukee County in 2007.
