GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – The Greater Green Bay YMCA’s east and west side locations are showing off newly-renovated wellness centers and offering expanded access to the spaces.
After two months of renovating work, both locations now have new flooring and equipment. The two branches also dedicated at least 2,000 square feet to additional strength space.
Additionally, members will also now have 24/7 access to the facilities. Officials say this was a request from members.
“We opened our facilities now 24/7,” said West Side YMCA Branch Director Marcia Sengstock. “So, members can purchase an extra key fob, and that gives them access to the facility 24/7 — and that’s holidays, evenings, anytime the Y is closed, they can get access to that.”
Tours will be offered of both branches on Saturday during a public open house.
