OSHKOSH, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – Erice Grady was sentenced Wednesday to life in prison – with no chance to ask for parole – for the murder of Deshawn Davis.
A jury had convicted Grady, 46, of first-degree intentional homicide for the April 27, 2021, murder.
While the life sentence was mandatory, Judge Daniel Bissett had the ability to set a date Grady could first ask for parole, but instead declined to make parole an option.
Grady and others were at a home on Greenwood Court in Oshkosh when he shot Davis through the door, according to the criminal complaint.
