CHICAGO, IL (WTAQ) — A man arrested on Brown County warrants in California escaped from law enforcement custody while being flown back to the area.
The Brown County Sheriff’s office says 31-year-old Tyler James Martinez ran away from transport officers while they were buying food at O’Hare International Airport in Chicago. He left the airport on a shuttle bus and remains at large. He is wanted on a number of drug and property crimes including burglary and possession of meth.
He’s not believed to be armed and had no money or means of communications when he escaped. Martinez is described as: a Male, 31 years of age, height: 6’ 2”, weight: 185 to 200 lbs.,
with brown hair and green eyes.
