GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Six people have been displaced after an overnight fire on Green Bay’s east side.
The fire broke out around 12 a.m. Tuesday on East Shore Drive. The Green Bay Metro Fire Department had the fire under control in about 10 minutes.
There was concern a 12-year-old was unaccounted for, but was later found at a family member’s home down the street uninjured.
One person inside the house suffered minor burns. Two Green Bay police officers were taken to hospital for smoke inhalation. All three were treated at a hospital and released.
The house is a total loss. No word on a cause.
