VILLAGE OF LITTLE CHUTE, WI (WTAQ-WLUK)– A church in the Village of Little Chute suffered what authorities say was ‘extensive damage’ after a vehicle crashed into the building Sunday.
Fox Valley Metro Police say the crash occurred at the Appleton Zion United Methodist Church located at the 1700 block of Pogrant Road just before 11 a.m.
According to police, the vehicle was fully inside the church.
Fox Valley Metro Police Lieutenant Mark Ulman says the driver told them the crash was caused by their brakes malfunctioning, however Fox Valley Metro Police say they have not confirmed the cause of the crash.
No injuries were caused by the crash.
