GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – The Green Bay Police Department reports a man has been arrested for Operating While Intoxicated after driving his vehicle into the Fox River.
Police say it happened early Saturday morning when the vehicle went off a railroad bridge off McDonald Street.
The driver was able to get out of the vehicle and swim to shore. Authorities say he was checked for hypothermia at a local hospital.
Police say the driver gave conflicting statements on whether anyone else was in the vehicle. No one was found inside the vehicle when it was pulled from the water.
