SOBIESKI, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – The largest pumpkins in all of Northeast Wisconsin gathered Saturday for a weigh off.
The Wisconsin Giant Pumpkin Growers held its annual contest at the North Chase Bar.
The event is usually held in downtown Green Bay, during its Fall Fest, but organizers say they needed to ensure proper space for social distancing.
One of the giant gourd growers tells FOX 11 how they’re able to make them so big.
The growers usually average pumpkins between 1,300 and 1,700 pounds.
