DE PERE, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Part of Saint Norbert College’s campus was red Tuesday night.
The school’s visual and performing arts program took part in Red Alert Restart.
It’s part of a nationwide effort to raise awareness to the live event industry’s need for support during the pandemic.
“I have friends that own businesses like this,” St. Norbert College Technical Director Corey Pinchart said. “I have former students in the industry. We are a very close knit family in the entertainment industry.”
The effort also has people pushing for Congress to pass the Restart Act, which would reportedly help the industry.
