MANITOWOC, WI (WTAQ) – An annual bow hunting meeting in Manitowoc will not be held this year due to COVID-19.
The police department says if you have any questions on the 2020 archery season within the city of Manitowoc, you can contact Lieutenant Mark Schroeder at 920-686-6551.
Bow hunting and land owner applications can be obtained and submitted on the city of Manitowoc website, under the Police Department page or at the front counter of the Police Department Monday thru Friday 7:30 am to 4:30 pm.
All bow hunting and land owner applications need to be returned to the Manitowoc Police Department by September 4th in order to be processed by the start of the archery season. If applications are received after this date there may be a delay in approval.
All bow hunting applicants requesting to hunt private land must have a land owner’s application attached to your bow hunting application when turned in.
The deer population in Manitowoc causes damage and problems for property owners, motorists and their vehicles.
