(WNFL) – Marquette won the TBT $1-million, winner-take-all challenge last night in Columbus, Ohio, defeating Sideline Cancer 78-73.
The team of Marquette alumni won the game on a three-pointer by former NBA player and Fond du Lac native Travis Diener.
Diener said it was great to avenge last year’s title game loss.
Diener added that it was great to do with this with Joe Chapman and the other guys.
Chapman said the team was committed to winning it all.
This was the first ever title in the tournament for the Marquette alumni team.
