The Milwaukee Brewers beat the New York Yankees 6-5 as Mark Reynolds delivered a two out, walk off RBI single in the bottom of the ninth inning at Miller Park on Mother's Day. The hit bailed out Francisco Rodriguez who gave up his first run of the season in his 20th relief appearance when Mark Teixeira blasted a two out, game tying solo home run in the top of the 9th. Rickie Weeks got the rally started with a broken bat double down the right field line against Adam Warren. He moved to third on a wild pitch before strolling in with the winning run. Weeks went three for five with a pair of runs batted in. Milwaukee had to fight uphill all day after starter Matt Garza gave up three runs in the first. The Brewers wind up taking the series and improved to 24-14 on the season, maintaining a five game lead over St. Louis in the division race. After an off day Monday, the Brewers wrap up the homestand with a three game series against Pittsburgh beginning Tuesday night.
