Nearly 60 games into the season, the Milwaukee Bucks finally delivered a rare blowout victory at home, routing the Utah Jazz at the BMO Harris Bradley Center 114-88 on Monday night. The Bucks put up 30 points in the first quarter, they scored 40 in the third and this time, didn't let the opposition back into the game. Milwaukee shot 57 % as a team and Ersan Ilyasova hit 13 of 14 shots for a game high 31 points. Zasa Pachulia and Ramon Sessions each added 14 as the Bucks picked up their 12th win of the year against 47 losses.
Kareem Abdul-Jabbar made an appearance at the game telling reporters he would be interested in helping the franchise in some capacity. Abdul-Jabbar helped lead the Bucks to their only championship in 1971. At 66, he said he's not neccessarily interested in owning a piece of the team but might be interested in either a coaching or consulting capacity.
