Kidd takes over

The Milwaukee Bucks introduced Jason Kidd as the 14th Head Coach in franchise history at a Bradley Center news conference Wednesday afternoon.    Kidd replaces Larry Drew who was fired after his only season on the bench, a 15-67 campaign, the worst in Bucks' history.   Milwaukee's new owners, Marc Lasry and Wes Edens were on the stage along with Kidd and General Manager John Hammond.  Kidd said he was excited to take over a young Bucks team but shied away from the reports that he sought more control over player personel in Brooklyn with the Nets.   In his first year as a coach at any level, Kidd led the Nets to a 44-38 record, making the second round of the NBA playoffs.  Lasry did admit it was a mistake in how he handled the negotiations and the hiring, without the involvement of Hammond.
