MADISON, WI (WTAQ) - Nobody won the Powerball jackpot Wednesday night, so it goes up to $152 million for the next drawing on Saturday.
$300 was the most anybody in Wisconsin won Wednesday night. Eight tickets claimed that prize by matching four regular numbers or three plus the Powerball, and having the Power Play multiplier of 3.
The multiplier purchase option was reused for the first time, after it was scrapped just over two years ago. The new Power Play boosts regular prizes of $10,000 or less.
Wisconsin had almost 9,600 total winners Wednesday evening. The numbers were 1, 2, 7, 9, and 55. The Powerball was 29.
Saturday's jackpot is the highest since October 23rd. The cash option will be just under $86 million.
In Mega Millions, the top prize is at $62 million for Friday night.
