Justin Timberlake introduced his own brand of tequila, called 901, back in 2009, but now he's partnering with an already-established company to re-launch the brand under a new name: Sauza 901.
JT's teaming with the already-existing Sauza brand of tequila to create the new super-premium spirit, which is described as having a "smooth, versatile and unique taste that is a cut above the rest." Look for the 80-proof tequila it to arrive in select markets this year for around 30 bucks a bottle.
In a statement, Justin said, "My love for tequila began a few years ago after I visited the tequila heartland of Jalisco, Mexico , and saw the passion and craftsmanship that goes into every bottle. That trip inspired me to create 901, and I'm thrilled to partner with Sauza so we can continue to bring the world 901." There will be a Sauza 901 bar at every show on Justin's 20/20 Experience world tour this year, so his fans can sample his latest venture.
Justin's obvious love for Mexican flavors -- tequila and otherwise -- may be the reason he hit up a local Taco Bell after he won three trophies at the People's Choice Awards on Wednesday night. He posted two photos on Instagram of himself posing with the restaurant's staff, captioning the snap, " What do we do after we win 3 PCAs?!?! Easy... Go to Taco Bell!! People's Champ, baby!! "
