Phoenix women back in first

The Green Bay Phoenix womens basketball team entered Thursday night's game sharing first place in the Horizon League with two other teams.  Today, they have the conference lead to themselves.  The Phoenix fought hard for a 79-72 overtime victory at Wright State, one of the three teams atop the standings.   Youngstown State was the other, and they lost to UIC.   Mehryn Kraker led the Phoenix with 19 points, Tesha Buck added 16 and reserve guard Sam Zastrow scored 12 with 6 assists.  Head Coach Kevin Borseth felt Zastrow was the key player in the victory.   Green Bay (17-8, 10-3), has a one game lead in the race with three games left to play.  They return to action Saturday night at Valparaiso.
