The Milwaukee Brewers opened Cactus League play Thursday afternoon in Phoenix against the Oakland A's. After sitting out the final 65 games of last season, suspended for his using of performance enhancing drugs, Brewers outfielder Ryan Braun was back in the lineup. On the second pitch from Oakland's Tommy Milone in his first plate appearance, Braun smashed a 2 run home run as the Brewers went on to swamp Oakland 11-3. Juan Francisco belted a pair of long balls for the Crew as Marco Estrada worked three innings for the victory. The Brewers will send Yovanni Gallardo to the mound against San Francisco on Friday.
