Sorry, Jason Mraz , but the title of "Longest Running Song in the History of the Billboard Hot 100" is no longer yours.

For several years now, Jason's hit "I'm Yours" has held that title, when it spent 76 weeks on the Billboard chart from 2008 to 2009.  But now, Imagine Dragons has bested that record: the band's hit "Radioactive," which they performed on the Grammy Awards last month, has just logged its 77th week on the chart.

Imagine Dragons frontman Dan Reynolds tells Billboard that the longevity of "Radioactive" -- which it seems like every American Idol contestant  either sang for auditions or during Hollywood Week this season -- is "unbelievable."

"We could never have expected to see one of our songs have legs like this," Dan told Billboard . "People seem to be connecting to it in personal ways, which is exactly what we hoped for. We've been out on the road and focused on touring for a long time. Somewhere along the way, we started to realize the song was taking on a life of its own."

"Radioactive" first debuted on the Hot 100 way back in August of 2012. It's sold 6.6 million downloads, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

By the way, to add insult to injury, Jason Mraz can't even stake an unchallenged claim to second place anymore.  His record of 76 weeks has just been tied by the song "Sail" by AWOLNATION .
