(WNFL)- With starter Morgan Burnett out, Packers' coach Mike McCarthy will get a long look at his other safeties tomorrow night when Green Bay plays at Tennessee. It's the Packers' exhibition opener, and Burnett -- who has a strained oblique muscle -- is one of seven injured players who won't make the trip. Micah Hyde and first-round rookie Ha Ha Clinton-Dix are expected to be the Packers' starters at safety. Sean Richardson, who has looked solid at Training Camp, is also expected to be in the mix along with Chris Banjo. McCarthy says he wants to get as many players as possible ready for the season. Clinton-Dix and Richardson could wind up as steady players in Green Bay's nickel-and-dime packages on passing downs. Besides Burnett, tight end Colt Lyerla won't make the trip -- and neither will defensive end Jerel Worthy, nose tackle LeTroy Guion, and safety Tanner Miller. Receiver Jared Abbrederis and offensive linemen Don Barclay are also out with ACL knee injuries.
