GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) - Rookie wide receiver Jared Abbrederis confirms he has suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee.
That news put a damper on the high spirits of a crowd of more than 67,000 which showed up for the annual Family Night event.
Abbrederis was injured at Wednesday’s practice and is expected to end his season before it got started. The injury is the same one suffered by Bryan Bulaga on Family Night last season.
Despite a change in the format of the practice, two Green Bay Packers suffered leg injuries Saturday night – nose tackle B.J. Raji and rookie tight end Colt Lyerla.
