GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) - Wisconsin Department of Transportation officials say no movement has been detected over the weekend at the Leo Frigo Bridge.
This comes as equipment designed to monitor movement was put on the sagging bridge along Interstate 43 over the Fox River. The device is known as a Memsic VG 350.
DOT officials say the equipment was put on the tops of three pillars, powered by marine batteries in protective cases.
These devices will send signals to a computer that will record the data. If movement is detected, alarms will sound for the workers below.
Crews are continuing to work to determine the cause of the bridge sinking.
It is closed indefinitely, and the public is warned to stay away from the bridge.
