RIVER FALLS, WI (WTAQ) - Crews are starting to take apart the house in River Falls where Aaron Schaffhausen killed his three daughters last summer.
It's being taken down piece by piece over the next 10 days.
Anything that can be salvaged will be donated to the St. Croix Valley Habitat for Humanity program. Also, the Affinity Plus Credit Union of Saint Paul will sell the land where the home now sits.
The proceeds will be donated to the Tri-Angels Playground in River Falls, which is being built in honor of the three girls who were murdered -- Amara, Sophie, and Cecilia Schaffhausen.
Aaron Schaffhausen is serving three life prison terms for the slayings, which occurred in July of 2012.
