GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) - Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers set a personal-best, by throwing for 480 yards in a 38-20 rout of the Washington Redskins at Lambeau Field Sunday.
Rodgers got off to a fast start, and finished 34-of-42 with 4 touchdown passes.
Two of those TD throws went to wide receiver Jordy Nelson. Fellow wideout James Jones finished the day with a team-high 11 catches for 178 yards.
Running back James Starks became the first Packer to rush for over 100 yards in a game in more than 2 years. Starks carried 20 times for 132 yards and a TD.
For the first time ever, the Packers had a 400 yard passer and 100 yard rusher in the same game.
The Packers move to 1-1, while the Redskins fall to 0-2.
