Katy Perry 's "Roar" stays at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 for a second week this week, but it also debuts at #1 on the singles chart in the U.K., the home of her ex-husband Russell Brand .  It's her fourth song to top both the U.S. and U.K. charts, which puts her in extremely rare company.

Yahoo! Chart Watch points out that there are only two female artists in history who've had more #1 hits in the U.S. and the U.K.: Madonna and Rihanna .  Madonna's had five, including "Vogue," "Like a Prayer" and "Papa Don't Preach," while Rihanna's had six, including "We Found Love," "Take a Bow" and "Umbrella."

"Hey UK! I appreciate the love so much. In exchange I will be seeing you in both SEPTEMBER & OCTOBER. How's that for payback?" Katy tweeted in response to her latest chart topper.

In other Katy news, her boyfriend John Mayer seems to be taking a page from her promotional book.  The singer has posted a photo of an enormous tractor trailer, plastered with the cover of his latest album Paradise Valley .   " Off this week and then next up is South America!! Are you ready for JM?? " read the caption.  Katy, of course, promoted her upcoming album Prism by sending a huge gold tractor trailer across America emblazoned with the album's title and release date.
