Lohse knocked around as Brewers fall to Cubs 8-5

CHICAGO (WTAQ) - Milwaukee’s starting pitcher Kyle Lohse had a bad game, to say the least.

Allowing seven earned runs in 5 innings, including five runs in the 1st, as the Brewers fell to the Chicago Cubs Friday 8-5.

The Brewers made it interesting in the 8th inning on a Scooter Gennett three-run homer – but came up empty in the 9th inning.

Johnny Hellweg (0-3) will get the start for the Brewers Saturday afternoon, Jake Arrieta (2-1) goes for the Cubs.
