GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) - The Brown County United Way is increasing its fundraising goal for this year.
The non-profit is hoping to reel in $4 million 50-thousand dollars for it’s more than 45 organization, groups and initiatives that receive support from them.
Last year’s haul was an increase of over of $300,000. 2013 Campaign Chair Denis Hogan says the improving economy is helping folks feel comfortable with giving more year over year.
Hogan credits success of their fundraising campaigns to the staff, volunteers and the workplace campaign that is now kicking off.
Employees donate to the United Way directly through their paychecks.
