MADISON, WI (WTAQ) - The Gary Andersen era kicked off to a good start, as 23rd-ranked Wisconsin demolished Massachusetts Saturday afternoon 45-0.
Running backs Melvin Gordon, James White and Corey Clement rushed for well over 100 yards in the game.
Quarterback Joel Stave had a slow start, but got things rolling as the game progressed. He finished 9-of-17 for 197 yards and two touchdowns.
Defensively, the Badgers were solid, allowing just 212 yards of total offense.
