GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) - Two men accused of shooting marbles at vehicles driving on Interstate 43 made their first court appearance Wednesday.
20-year-old Kyle Akerboom and 19-year-old Griffin Lawson both face two felony and four misdemeanor charges.
Over the past few week, Green Bay police say the two shot at vehicles, hitting at least three on Sunday. Some of those vehicles had smashed windows and dented bodies.
One woman was struck in the thigh as she rode on a motorcycle.
Cops say both men acknowledged that they grew tired of shooting at birds and squirrels in the forested area, and decided to make a game out of shooting at cars.
Authorities credit a citizen tip leading to their arrest.
