GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) - Badgers football is coming to Green Bay.
The Univeristy of Wisconsin Board of Regents has approved a deal with the Packers to play at Lambeau Field September 3rd 2016 against Louisiana State University.
The Packers are paying the UW $3 million and will pocket all game day revenue.
Brad Toll, President of Greater Green Bay Area Convention and Visitors Bureaus expect the local economic impact to be around $13.5 million, which is comparable to a Packers home game.
Toll expects the game to have a national television audience.
The game will be a considered a home game for the Badgers.
Toll expects this will likely break attendance records at Lambeau Field. Capacity at Lambeau field is 80,750.
