If you're tired of listening to "Royals" for the millionth time, now you can check out some new music from Lorde .  She's recorded a new version of   Tears for Fears '   1985 hit "Everybody Wants to Rule the World" for the soundtrack of the highly anticipated Hunger Games sequel, Catching Fire, and now you can check out a one-and-a-half-minute snippet of the song streaming at MTV.com .

Lorde has made the upbeat '80s classic, which hit #1, very much her own, and her darker take on the classic single is resonating with Tears for Fears member Curt Smith , who notes he’s thrilled with Lorde’s new version.

"I think it's absolutely amazing," Smith tells MTV Hive. "But then I love her, I think she's brilliant…We love it when other people cover our stuff. Sometimes we steal them and use their version live."

You may be familiar with another interesting remake of a Tears for Fears song: Gary Jules ' take on their single "Mad World" was a big hit in 2001, and was later covered by Adam Lambert on American Idol.

The Catching Fire soundtrack arrives in stores November 19, with songs from Coldplay , Imagine Dragons , The Lumineer s and Of Monsters and Men .
