(WNFL) - The Wisconsin high school football playoffs resume tonight. Fifty-six second-round games will be played in seven divisions. Five other contests are set for tomorrow. All seven defending champions from a year ago are still alive. They romped in their Level-One games last weekend by a combined score of 345-to-44. Hartland Arrowhead, Mequon Homestead, Waukesha Catholic Memorial, Somerset, Amherst, Fond du Lac Springs, and Glenwood City remain in the running for repeat titles. Twenty-seven of the 28 Number-One seeds also advanced to Level-Two. Cochrane-Fountain City was the only top seed that didn't survive. Two more rounds of playoffs will take place before the state finals in Madison November 21st and 22nd.
