MILWAUKEE (WTAQ) - The normally powerful Milwaukee lineup produced just three hits in a 7-2 Cactus League loss to the White Sox Friday.
One of the hits was a 4th inning, two-run homer by Ryan Braun. Braun’s blast to left came with one out and Norichika Aoki on base.
Even though he took the loss, started Wily Peralta was relatively happy with his outing. He allowed 4 runs in four and a third innings, with two of them earned. Peralta struck out 3 and walked 3, while allowing four hits.
The exhibition game was played in Milwaukee’s Miller Park where the high-definition scoreboard went white in the bottom of the 1st inning. It came back up as the Brewers batted in the bottom of the 2nd.
