GREENFIELD, WI (WTAQ) - Parents of students at Whitnall Schools weren’t inclined to be forgiving at a special meeting earlier this week.
They were angered by the district’s attempt to explain why they weren’t told immediately when the school’s food service director was arrested for child enticement.
55 year old James Heidke was arrested February 23rd and those parents weren’t informed until March 5th.
WISN-TV aired a story on the arrest the day before the parents were officially notified. Those parents say they should have been told much earlier.
Heidke was charged with using a computer to try to commit a child sex crime. He was caught in a sting, arrested when he communicated with who he thought was a 15 year old boy.
