Rumors that Justin Timberlake would appear at this year's South by Southwest Festival in Austin, Texas are true. The singer will be closing out the final Myspace "Secret Show" at Coppertank Events Center on Saturday.
Myspace Secret Shows are free for fans on a first-come, first-served basis, but only fans who've connected to "Secret Show" artists on Myspace are eligible. Visit the Myspace Secret Show page, enter your info, and you'll receive details on how to snag your tickets. But be aware: JT isn't hitting the stage until midnight.
Also on the bill for this final "Secret Show" is Questlove of The Roots , who'll do a deejay set. At this point, he and JT are probably best friends, since The Roots are the house band on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and Justin just spent an entire week appearing on the show.
Of course, it's not surprising that Justin is playing a Myspace event, considering the fact that he's now one of the owners of the revamped Myspace and is looking to re-brand it as a major social networking service.
