APPLETON, WI (WTAQ) - Police in Appleton have arrested four people in connection with a drug investigation.
Authorities say they went to a home in the 2600 block of South Jackson Street around 4:20 p.m. Monday with a warrant for a man who skipped a court appearance.
Police say they were let into the house and met several people in the basement. While there, they saw evidence of drug distribution, as well as drugs and drug paraphernalia. Afterward, they secured the scene and got a search warrant.
After further investigation, police say they arrested 18-year-old Kong A. Vang, 26-year-old Daniel W. Luce, 20-year-old Tyler N. Thorson, and 20-year-old Matthew D. Lenzer.
Vang was the man police say they were originally looking for.
Police are recommending charges involving methamphetamine and marijuana against him, charges involving methamphetamine against Thorson and Lenzer, and charges of bail jumping against Luce.
However, prosecutors have so far not formally charged any of the men with any crimes related to these arrests.
