In honor of the release of her new fashion line this month, some of Rihanna 's most famous outfits are going on display in New York City.

Women's Wear Daily reports that Opening Ceremony, the retail chain that will be the only U.S. retailer for the Rihanna for River Island Collection, will put seven looks on display at its flagship New York City stores at 35 Howard Street.  The display, called "RIHtrospective," coincides with the Tuesday release of the fashion line at all Opening Ceremony store, as well as at openingceremony.us .

There are seven looks in the exhibit to match Rihanna's seven albums.  The outfits, which the singer helped select, include both red carpet looks and stage wear, and her stylist tells WWD that they range from "really pulled-together" to "grungy."   Among the pieces: a pink lace minidress she wore to perform at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show last year.
