OSHKOSH, WI (WTAQ) - The death of a 52-year-old man who was hit by a train is being treated as a suicide.
Oshkosh police say it happened near the intersection of E. Custer Ave. and Broad St. Monday afternoon.
Police say that based on witness statements, the man intentionally walked onto the train tracks, turned toward the train and was hit. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The man's family has been notified, but police have not released his name.
