GREEN LAKE COUNTY, WI (WTAQ) - A possible case of police impersonation is being investigated in Green Lake County.
On Wednesday night, someone reported being pulled over on Highway E, west of Highway F in the Town of Seneca. It's about 4 miles west of Berlin.
The driver told deputies the man wrote a warning, then followed the driver east into Berlin and eventually to the west side of Oshkosh in Winnebago County.
The possible impersonator then turned around and headed back to the west.
The man who made the traffic stop was wearing a dark uniform with a badge, but no name tag. He was wearing a police duty belt. His car was a black Ford Crown Victoria with "police" written on the side and "911" on the rear quarter panel. it had red and blue lights on the inside dash.
