Cedarburg, Waukesha Catholic Memorial and Osseo-Fairchild captured the team championships at the WIAA State Golf meet at University Ridge in Madison. The tournament concluded on Tuesday. Cedarburg won the Division 1 meet with a score of 598, 17 strokes better than runner up Brookfield Central. Appleton East came in third at 628. Bay Port improved their score by 18 strokes from round one to climb up two spots and finish 10th. The D1 medalist was T.J. Budd of Sauk Prairie who finished at 1 under, 143, three strokes better than Cedarburg's P.J. Clemins. The top area players were Garrett Lubbers of Bay Port who finished tied for 16th and Pulaski's Owen Nowicki who tied for 38th. In the Division 2 meet, Catholic Memorial came from behind with a strong second day to shoot 616, 11 strokes better than first day leader Edgerton. Green Bay Notre Dame finished third in the team standings, one shot behind Edgerton who had the D2 medalist in Andrew Morrison at 145. Notre Dame junior Connor O'Neil shot a second day 74 to finish tied for third overall. Ben Bobinski finished his senior year with a 78 to finish 20th. In Division 3, Osseo-Fairchild won the title at 639, 10 strokes ahead of runnerup Lancaster. John Rogness of Eleva-Strum was medalist at three over, 146.
